Featuring a cover by the ever-reliable Jimmy Turrell, and running to 104 pages, this sixth volume of our adventure in print pays painstaking tribute to all those visionaries who forged cinematic milestones through their biopsies of a future read in the key of the present.

Films that, at heart, reflect on our condition as humans, as individuals in relation to society, the world and the cosmos. A loading dock of pages stuffed with writing on the genre, from the most obvious works and auteurs to little-known Eastern European science fiction, or those lesser-known architects who helped bring the futuristic vision of certain geniuses into being.

There are also articles on the billionaires angling to impose a techno-fascist vassalage, on the growing entrenchment of AI in Hollywood, and on talents who could have revolutionised cinema but settled for doing so in shorter formats. There are pages on series, comics, novels, photography and video games of sci-fi stock.
