The issue explores the concept of FOUNDATIONS from a few different angles: some more conceptual and others more literal. We have two projects that examine the foundations of analog photography - one through the historic technique of wet plate collodium images and another through darkroom collage.

We touch on the foundations of the earth and ecology and feature very personal projects about the foundations of identity and family. Our open call took the theme literally and focused on architecture photography, with some of our favorite images featured in our community spotlight section.
