Lucky C200 is a daylight-balanced ISO 200 colour negative film known for bold saturation, warm tones, and that unmistakable Lucky look. Expect reds that pop, punchy blues, and a soft warmth in the highlights. This stock is especially important as it comes from the very first production run of Lucky’s revived colour film—a major moment for both the brand and the film community.

It delivers high contrast, warm saturation, strong reds and blues, and subtle green shadows, making it ideal for street, travel, portraits, and everyday shooting.

Lucky Film Company began in 1958 and became China’s largest domestic film producer by the 1990s, known for their vibrant, warm-toned films. After competition and a brief partnership with Kodak, Lucky ended colour film production in 2012... until NOW!

With analogue photography booming again, Lucky has done the rare and difficult work of rebuilding colour film production from scratch. After bringing back black-and-white stocks, they return in 2024 with a newly redeveloped colour film—Lucky C200, their first colour release in over a decade and an exciting new chapter for this historic manufacturer.
