Welcome

Welcome is a work of photography based on the series. It shows a 1970s block of flats with four doors off each landing where the residents have personalised their front doors, repetitive elements, and have taken possession of this intermediate zone between the public environment of communal spaces and the private domestic sphere.
The publication is in dual format. When folded it takes the form of a small book in which one can turn the pages to read and examine each image individually. It unfolds to become one photographic image, which forms a hypothetical section through the building.
