How Things Look Max Creasy is a whimsical exploration of the discrepancy between appearance and reality. As a statement on the nature of objects, this photographic work invites us to consider how inanimate objects might perceive us. This series of unconventional portraits is presented in a unique sequence that highlights the connections between appearance and materiality. Through the use of normative tools and a clever rotated format, the photos playfully slip onto the "verso" of each spread. Accompanied by an essay from Yuma Shinohara, the work delves into the playful precariousness of perception.
