A whimsical glimpse of a same-sex couple smooching in the streets of Vienna, a tantalizing shot of a Culver’s ice cream sundae in Chicago, and a serene swan gracefully gliding over a dark pond in Paris - these moments of pure serendipity are what draws the focus of Saki Omi, a Japanese fashion photographer. For the past ten years, she's traveled around the globe, from Frankfurt, Germany to Chicago and New York in the USA, to Tbilisi, Georgia and Sydney, Australia. Through her keen eye for candid situations and ephemeral instants, she captures her inherent desire to explore and immerse herself in different cultures, battling her longing for foreign lands while away from home.
