The Olympus OM10 is a vintage 35mm manual focus SLR (Single Lens Reflex) camera produced by the celebrated Japanese manufacturer, Olympus. Introduced in 1979, it was designed as an amateur-friendly alternative to the professional OM1 and OM2 series, featuring an aperture-priority automatic exposure mode, which enabled easier photography for beginners. However, a manual adapter was also available for advanced users who desired greater control.
Despite its entry-level positioning, the OM10 carries Olympus's renowned commitment to compactness and high-quality optics. Even after four decades since its inception, the Olympus OM10 remains an iconic tool in the history of film photography, widely-admired for its unfussy design, quality results, and robustness.
