Join us for a hands-on, fun experience as you take self-portraits with a 6x9 format ANACA studio camera. We’ll guide you through the entire process, from capturing your image to developing and enlarging it.
Location: Carrer de l'Alzina 2-4 - Local 1 (just a four-minute walk from our store on Calle Verdi)
Here’s the Plan:
- Lights, Camera, Action: Set up the lighting, load your film and get ready to strike a pose.
- Self-Portrait Session: Channel your inner photographer and snap your best self-portrait.
- Develop the Magic: Use the AGO film processor to develop your film. Then, take a break – it will need an hour to dry.
- Explore the Process: Learn about the wonders of the additive/subtractive color enlarger, understand density, and discover the secrets of perfect color correction.
- Pick Your Best Shot: Choose the best negative for printing.
- Dive into the Color Lab: Get an intro to using the color paper processor.
- Hands-On Enlarging: Under supervision, each participant will enlarge their chosen negative. Meanwhile, the rest will watch, learn, and join in on the discussions.
- Take Home Your Masterpiece: Leave with a stunning 24x30 image, complete with test prints and your treasured negative.
