*ANASTASIA SAMOYLOVA (1984) grew up in Moscow and moved to the United States in 2008, where she graduated with a master's degree in Interdisciplinary Art from Bradley University, Illinois. Her work critically explores the tension between the staged perception of bombastic materialism and the underlying reality. Living and working in Miami, Florida, her environment has become the perfect backdrop for combining collage-like details with the genre of the road trip. Her recent series, Flood Zones and Floridas, have garnered significant critical acclaim for their insightful commentary.
